"bump" button?

This is not because of being lazy but to make to forum looks more clean. Instead of typing "bump" or anything else, can you guys implement a "bump" button so we don't have to make the thread longer? It makes the thread more clean without the redundant posts.

And I can see headaches in our future trying to enforce the 4 hour bump rule in FS/T with that feature installed.

No, a bump button will exist back after four hours of the first bump. You guys should really check out fredmiranda.com.

If someone post on my thread within the four hours then it will bump but if I reply back then that's not a bump unless I do it after the four hours of that post.

I think it's a good idea, but there should be some way the moderators can customize it.

The "Bump" button disappears / grays out until four hours after the last time it was pressed.

Would that even be possible with this forum software?

Anything is possible, it only costs time and money to make enhancements to any software. The less money, the more time it takes. It all depends on how much money Anand wants to put towards that idea. I happen to like the involved process that tonie specified in his 2nd post. I hope it gets implemented.
