not credible news... maybe true... prolly true sentiments in a lot of mid eastern countries, but still, this is a yahoo site. wait for more credible sources... this topic will be well covered. this article is designed to be inflamatory, in case you didn't notice.

<< Abdel Karim hailed the attacks as "the best thing that's happened since the October War," referring to the October 1973 Arab-Israeli war when Egyptian forces made a surprise attack on the Israeli army across the Suez Canal. >>

Cowards only think battles are good if their enemies suffer damage. That's all those punks are, cowards.

Hmmm... Operation Bright Star should be going soon, as it's an odd-numbered year... cancel it, or make a special point of showing the locals what the U.S. military is capable of when harnessed for a mission? I'd say that BS is going to be sh!tcanned this year personally, and the government getting some serious chatting to behind the scenes...

<< They(the US) don't have the courage to meet us face to face," said Khalil Matar, 43 >>

Khalil , just because you guys spend all your waking hours buggering each other or stabbing each other in the back doesn't make you fearsome in the least. What it does make you is less than human.. just like the cowards that commited these acts.

Wow, a few anti-US Egyptians spout off for some hungry reporters, and you guys want to cut all relations with Egypt. A few Egyptians speak for the entire country, eh? Wonderful thinking guys, you're definitely the smart bunch in ATOT.

How about this: I'll pay $100 to any guy in Oregon who says "Bullseye" for a TV reporter. That way, the US government can cut all relations with Oregon and we can become our own little country.

You Khalil's butt brother or something? Why would you be upset by an insult to an illiterate Camel Driver celebrating this dasterdly deed?

Hmm, I bet if you looked hard, there are probably some white, corn fed, Americans who are elated about this too. Idiots and morons exist everywhere(no offense to the mentally challenged), your opinion of foreign peoples should not be determined by the acts of a few.

You people need to realize that this isn't representative of all Egyptians or all Arabs. There will be some f-ed people that feel this a need for celebration.

I'm sure there are several groups of anti-government groups who are also celebrating this disaster.

Keep everything in perspective.

I bet there's people in every country "celebrating" this.

I even saw few people on Finnish irc-channel saying stuff like "at last someone showed them", I just dont get what motivates these people saying those things. I hope you dont now consider bombing down Finland - because of few idiots.

Agreed, that's why I identified Khalil by name.

Easy guys! Not everyone in Egypt thinks this way! I have an uncle in Egypt in fact (and a cousin) and I really don't think they cracked open a brew last night in celebration of this.

The US does a lot throughout the world. Not necessarily because we want to, but because we are the only ones that can. As a world power it has fallen upon us to lead. We do this because it is right, not because it is popular.

For those dancing in the streets in our time of suffering, screw them. First thing we do is find a list of all the foreign aid we have given the country. Next we project how much we were going to give them. Then we send them a ripped check and take out a front page ad explaining what we did.

If they are such soulless bastards, there is nothing left to save in those countries anyway.

My 2 cents!
