Bulldozer requires new socket, AM3+

i pretty much buy mobos and cpu's and ram at the same time, and those three things never part from eachother. i dont like it either, but it is the way it is.
 
I'll have to upgrade my motherboard regardless, if I upgrade to Sandy Bridge or Bulldozer, a socket change for the AMD side doesn't bother me. So long as the CPU manufacturers aren't changing sockets multiple times in a single product cycle and they are up front with with CPUs work in what socket, I don't see an issue.
