so...the question is..if this is a feature, why amd didn't make a master-slave aproach?

If you have to make an outrageous title just to grab attention, you're doing it wrong.

This is actually an interesting approach.


Id like some serious gaming benchmarks and all less threaded benchmarks with the "extra integer" core disabled.

That could probably increase the relatively retarded numbers, but of course sacrifice multithreading.


Which makes it seem like an expensive not so good 2500k perhaps.



But a gamers path for those who already got AM3+ boards.

I wonder if this could be addressed with a bios update (other than disabling every other core), like a repeat of the original phenom or with software optimization.
