For serial? That is a terrible, awful, no good, very bad idea. It would be trying SO HARD to make a minivan an off road-looking vehicle and failing miserably IMO.

This. It's going to take an awful looking vehicle, and make it look worse. It has no practical application on a minivan.

While you're definitely in here only to dick around with everyone, I'll go ahead and entertain a +1 that this is a stupid waste of time and money.

thanks for the response. ^ this is a legit question. that pic ltk posted is of a 2008 sienna...doesnt look so bad, but the 2011 grill looks much nicer. it also comes with awd. i like to mod my cars to stand out from the rest. i dont think this is that bad of an idea.

Ultimately, do what makes you happy...but it'll look ridiculous. For what purpose do you want to do this, other than looks? Do you need additional lighting?

This is a terrible idea, but whatever.

I saw them on a alot of minivans in south America a few years ago. Sure it was in the mountains and would probably be very useful in low light situations.

I think a top light bar and bull bar with a mild lift would be cool to see on a crossover or some station wagons but on a minivan if done for purely for looks and not function-ie you live in the desert-would look out of place and get you the same treatment as that guys kid who wore the girl boots...

You could do what my cousin did and get the limited trim Sienna with those badass smoked chrome taillights. We're joking he needs subs and spinners, but still...

I'd also invest in a whip antenna and mount it on the bull bar and bend it back and anchor it somewhere on the rear of the car.

Check your local laws, many states have limitations on the lights you can legally use on public roads.

Do it. Also, rip off the brand badges and replace with Jeep decals you find at a junk yard. Then sawzall the roof so that it's convertible!
