Bulk versus Retail?

I tried to look ´both expressions up in the dictionary, but i did not get the meaning of it when we are talking about bying computer stuff.
Can anyone tell me?

I think you want to differentiate "retail" which comes in manufactures box, +/- extras & carries full manufacturers warranty to "OEM" which comes bare bones ie devoid of nice manufacturers box,extras & probably a slightly different warranty.

Bulk means it came in a big 'clump' to the reseller. It doesn't come with anything special, usually. Retail has everything you need.
