bulk cmd line photo resizing in windows

I need a windows cmd line app that can bulk resize pictures so it ends up being 96 x 96 or less. any ideas? imagemagick does not work well.

needs to be cmd line based because it will be a process for deploying photos to active directory.

Looks like Irfanview can do the job too if you really can't use IM. But IM is one of my favorite programs.

If you can write a win32 console app you could always use the CxImage library:

With that you could add your own bulk / batch processing logic.

Imagemagick works very well, IME. Are you passing it paths without quotes, or something like that?
