I just built a new machine with an MSI 865PE Neo2-V Motherboard using a Pentium 4 2.40A Ghz processor with a 533mhz system bus -- this motherboard says it supports DDR 400, but when I check it in BIOS or with Sisoft Sandra it says it running at 333mhz. Is there something glaringly obvious I missed? Any suggestions?

Well the 533 bus is actually 133 x 4, so your ram is actually running faster than the processors FSB. Normally the memory would be 133(266DDR) which is quad pumped to 533.

You are probably running at a 4:5 mem ratio with your fsb at 133/533 and your ram running at 166(333DDR) which is quad pumped to 667

My p4b is running at 4:5 mem ratio as well. 133/533 FSB 166(333DDR)/667 Ram.

You got all that? :D
