I have a Dell XPS 15 9550 (Skylake) which I connected to my LG 27EA83R monitor via HDMI (1.4). I can get the display to show the 2560x1440 resolution properly.
However, as far as I am concerned, the display has built-in speakers which should work through an HDMI connection. I can't get the speakers to work, though. They are recognized by Windows 10, and when I set them as default, no sound comes out of the speakers.
Am I doing something wrong? What should I do to make the speakers work?
