Built-In method of adding disclaimers to outbound email in Exchange 2000?

Can't seem to find it anywhere...? Am I looking at having to get third-party software? Or am I looking at modding everyone's individual signature to include the disclaimer?

Steve

Please don't do this. These disclaimers have no value except in lawyer-land and are incredibly annoying to recipients.
If you insist on doing this, please make it *short*. Nothing says "plonk" like a ten-line disclaimer appended to people's email.

Wellllll.... What the boss wants, the boss gets. I hate them too, but that's neither here nor there. Or something like that.

I've been trying to do this same thing, luckily they just want a quick one-liner at the bottom.

I haven't yet found a way to do it without 3rd party software, or a bit more hacking than I really want to do with my Exchange Server.

I'm supposed to be able to do it with my GFI MailEssentials (spam killer) software, but haven't been able to get it to work yet. Just thought I'd check to see if there was a quick and easy in Exchange prior to giving the ol' tech support a call...

Thanks Azev, I got it to work correctly in MailEssentials after all. I'll go ahead and check your link/tutorial as well, just to fill up my brain some more. 😀 Hmmmm... Is it just me or does that look like 'mysexchange'?
