Built-in LCD case mod

I'm looking to add either a small TFT color LCD to the side of a SSF case or to sit on the case. I'm running Linux, it mostly will be text for now, plan to use a GUI with color later. I want 10 inch or small and to plug it into the VGA connector for under $100.00.USD. CPU or Power PC magazine did one of these a while back using 2 or 3, 5-1/4 slots.

Another option is a monochrome LCD display terminal running off of the serial port.

Any suggestions and links?
