Hi,

I recently bought the HP Envy 14 and it has an HDMI and mini displayport. I have two monitors and I am only able to run 2/3 monitors at the same time (i.e. laptop + monitor 1, laptop + monitor 2, monitor 1 + monitor 2). Does anybody know an inexpensive solution for this? Will Eyefinity solve the problem?

I've already tried connecting an external display through a USB->VGA converter but there is no fun in that. I can barely do anything on the USB connected monitor and there's no point in having a nice LED monitor when you can't even use it to it's full potential.

Specs:
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Radeon HD 6630

Thanks in advance

I get by with my Vaio Z using an HP USB Graphics Adapter that lets me run my notebook screen, monitor 1 via VGA or HDMI outlet and monitor 2 from the adapter.

This works fine for me with 2 Dell 22" IPS monitors for basic office work, internet etc (but not gaming) and it seems you need more performance.

Other possible solutions (unfortunately probably not all that cheap) may be a Vidock :

or the Matrox DualHead2Go or TripleHead2Go:
