Is the built-in audio AC97 on the Epox-8K7A mobo good? I bought a bundle from mwave, which features the new Yamaha Sound Card. Which is better?
 
I have asked the same question before. The quality is good if you are just using a sub-$100 speaker set. One thing it lacks is the 4 channel output if you are using high-end speakers.

hum i have this AC97 in my sont VAIO lappy.. and in not to happy with it.. i have some more drivers for it. However im not sure if there really for my AC97 sound.. well only one way to find out 🙂 install time


Im installing new drivers cuz the sound sounds shi tty now
