Ok I spent a good part of yesterday building a system for a friend and it turned out great but there are a few problems. Here are the specs if you think it will help

Antec 1080 430w
P4 3.06
Asus P4G8X Deluxe
Twin Pack Corsair 3200 2-2-2-6 1gb in total
ATI AIW Pro
Audigy 2
Western Digital 160 gb HD
Pioneer A05

An here are the problems that came up:

1) When booting up ot reports a "hardware error" and wants me to go to to Power in Bios, I do and one of the case fans RPMs are in red, is this what is causing the error? If so just switching to a regular power plug instead of the fan only one should work, right?

2) The onboard LAN refuses to work, I installed the drivers, for it and it recognizes it but there still is no internet on the computer. Any ideas here? Maybe something wrong in the network settings?

3) Not really a problem but, the Antec case came with 2 extra cords coming out the front for LED lights, do I ise these "I and II" plugs anywhere? Also all these little single connectors are for the front USB and Firewire but the diagram downright blows for putting them in right. Is there anywhere I can get a better picture of it?

Other than that this system is by far the fastest computer I have ever used. I just want to saolve these problems.

Thanks

(1) based on your explanation I think one of your fans is either (a) not spinning fast enough or (b) doesn't support RPM monitoring. Switch fans or change it to a 4 pin power connector (unless it is the CPU fan in which case you should go from there)

(2) No Idea:(

(3) Are we possibly taking about Power LED and HDD Activity LED??? If yes then there should be a block of pins that these go to (same block as the power butten and reset button (if you have one))

Good Luck,

1) If you can change the minimum RPM of the fan sensor warning that would be best, otherwise do what you suggest.
2) There are a thousand things here. Need complete details of your network router, other PC's, what is installed, TPX, TCPIP, etc.. What is the IP address ? Can you ping another computer on your network ?
3) The two extra lights are for whatever you need. I have the same case, and I use the "I" one for my SCSI controller.
