Built a Comic Aggregator. Scared to Release. Will I get sued?

So long story short, I was trying to make a screen scraped, and it was hard to get much real data but almost all of my favorite comics have a pattern to their images file names.

As such, I can script and aggregate all the comics onto one page.

I think this would be fun and neat, but have been told I'll get sued by a few friends...

Is it true?

I'd actually thought some time last year it would be nice to build your own webcomic page with your favorite webcomics on it.

My bet is worst you'd probably end up with is a Cease and Desist, or two, or three. It's much easier to send threatening letters then it is to bring you to court.

I knew I wasn't the only one that thought this would be neat.

My idea is if it's legal to work at it, or get some help, to make it so it can remember peoples favorite comics for them.

I would like to release a webpage like that. I have some other great innovations I've been working on, and hope to release my web application soon, but this was one of my favorite parts of it.

I know the artists need advertising revenue, but...come on..I can make the comics link to their site or something..I don't know...a C&D wouldn't bother me too much, but I don't want a C&D&Give me all your money from the makers of Dilbert.
