builidng first computer - mobo install question

I am trying to install the Bad Axe 2 mobo in an Antec P180 case. I can only get 4 of the 10 screws to go in securely. The other screws turn round and round and nevcer go into the mount. I tried different screws to see and that didn't work. I've tried reseating the mobo about 4 times now. Any advice?

Do the stand offs come out or is it just the mobo tray? For securing the motherboard to the tray use the coarse threaded screws, or you could do like PowerSpec used to do and hot glue the motherboard in.

I hate putting mobos in some cases.. Sometimes the holes in the mobo don't match the placement of the mounting screw holes in the case. Frustration!!!! Make sure the holes in the mobo are right over the mounting standoffs. You might need to put a bit of pressure on the moboto get these things in line with each other.
