Building your own case.

Has anyone ever physically built their own case to fit their personal specifications as to what size they want it to be?

If one were to build their own case, what things should be done to make sure it is safe? Like grounding and such?

Anyone have urls to something like this?

I remember a guide on how to make your case out of plexy glass before, can't remember the url... but it has been done.

I guess the guy cut the glass and used metal faseners to hold it together. Ended up looking pretty cool.

I am guessing you could use other meterials such as wood, if you knew what you were doing.
