Building your computer..?

When you finally get all the parts how exactly do you go about setting the computer up.

I know about the processor, heatsink and all that.

But is it really as simple as then just plugging the power cords in and then installing drivers?

Because if so how do I figure out if I need RAID on my RAM or whatever and all that fun business.

By the way. The only time you would need raid would be if you have 2 or more sata hard drives
