I am getting ready to order stuff to build a bunch of computers for the office where I work. I'm getting them XP1700s and NVidia 420 boards since I wont be overclocking, like good sound and integrated networking, and the GeForce2MX will make occasional QuakeIII lanfest possible w/o costing too much more than other board with crap video.

Question is, since I'm buying CPUs OEM (no cooler), what coolers should I get. I wont be overclocking (cept the one that will be mine), but there is such a huge difference in quality between generic ones and slightly more carefully designed ones, that I'm willing to spend bit more for quality. Can someone recommend something quiet and reasonably priced. I'd love something quiet and cold like Noise Control Silverado, but that thing practically costs as much as CPU. Anything that cools well enough, is very quiet, and reasonably priced?

vantec 6027d for $20 has a good clip design and is fairly quiet and works very well.

Spire 5T060B1H3R is good and quiet for nonoced computers
Taisols are pretty cheap and very quiet also.
