Yeah, I installed the CPU dandy, and I got the thermalpaste on just as easy. Now the part that is driving me insane is the part which I cant get the dang screws (They have springs on them) from the Heatsink part into the screws of the motherboard.

Ive dont it in every possible way imaginable, but I think I know the problem. The screw "hole" on the Tyan is this wierd metal bracket that is installed on the back of the mobo.

Im making sure the holes are alligned, and I start screwing them in... but they dont connect. Maybe I should get something other than stock? Is there a 3rd party Socket 771 I should take a look into? Maybe im doing something wrong?

Anyone have any clue how to help me? The screws are just not connecting to the Motherboard...
