Some motherboards don't overclock well. Just like some processors don't overclock well and some RAM doesn't overclock well.

It's not folly to say that a motherboard doesn't overclock well if it really doesn't.

If someone is testing out mobo's then yeah, but to straight out blame a mobo for bad overclocking has to many variables but there are some mobo's that just don't overclock good cause of particular chipsets...

There are motherboards with decent chipsets by lower tier manufacturers that don't overclock well because they just aren't good quality, or the options aren't there.
