Building new system- Upgrade decent monitor?

Hey guys, Im building a new a64 system within the next few weeks upgrading from my old nforce2/gf3 system. Now, I got a nice 19 inch philips crt about 1.5 years ago, the refresh rates are amazing on it, but its only .25mm dot pitch. I'm getting new everything, down to mousepad and keyboard. THe only thing that will be the same is the CRT, which will remind me of being on my old system. Now this sounds stupid probably, but maybe some of you know what I mean, that when you havea new monitor it feels more like a new computer because of what you're seeing. I don't know, any comments to throw me off of this idea or support it?
