Building new system -- Need opinions please!!!!

I am building an AMD XP system with raid/two hard drives, DVD, CD-RW, Radeon 8500, two modems, etc. I'm looking for a case and will need a lot of room. Here is what I need:

external:
Five - 5.25 slots
One - 3.5 slot

internal:
two - 3.5 slots

What is your favorite case?? Why??
What is your favorite power supply?? How many watts??

Antec SX1240

The build quality and roominess is first class. In addition it is a very attractive piece. The 400w powersupply is AMD/Intel P4 ready.

I'd personally go for one the Chieftec cases they have at Newegg. They are the same case as the Antecs with a different power supply. In the hot deals forum, I've heard a lot of people commenting on how satisfied they've been with the models featuring 400w power supplies. Chech them out here.

Thanks for the replies!! I will check them out. Anyone else have a different opinion??

I've never used any of the other cases, but I'm really happy with my Lian-Li PC-60. It didn't come with a power supply, so I had to pay extra for that, but the optimist in me considers that to have been an opportunity to hand-choose my own instead of going with somebody else's choice. 🙂 Anyway, it's sturdy, sleek, and seems like one that I won't have to replace for a long time, no matter how many times I completely gut the insides and build a new system from scratch.

I currently have 2 Antec SX1030b cases and love them. These cases only have 4 5.25 bays so you would need a SX1240 and it's huge!

ANTEC SX10x Case

PROS:
-LOOks
-Good Cooling
-Roomie
-Lockable side and from panel
-Front panel
-Many different colors to choose from
-AMD/P4 Ready
-Heavy

Cons:
-Heavy
-No slide out mb tray

Good Luck!

I have been looking at lots of cases and one that caught my eye on NewEgg is the INWIN ATX FULL TOWER CASE MODEL # IW-Q500P.300F. here Anyone have any experience with this case? The price is right $66 and it has five 5.25 slots and it looks cool!! I went to the web site and they have an exploded view of the case here . It has a slide out Motherboard tray -- mount everything up and slide it in. It looks like it would be great, but I don't know.

The power supply is only a 300watt and I have no idea what brand it is. That may be where they are saving money is on a cheap supply. It says AMD approved but who knows.
