So I'm at the point where I want to build a new setup for myself. I haven't been following hardware and new tech very much recently, so I'm not sure whats the best anymore. The last time I built I used an AMD xp 1800+ and then I bought a laptop, so it's been a while.
What I'm wanting is a fairly fast setup that will offer good upgrade paths and longevity. I don't game much and not into overclocking. Basically internet stuff, lots of movies and music, and the ability to play recent games relatively easy. I need some advise on what route to go and what's the best value.
