Okay, so I'm building a new rig, and I'm looking for a case to use. I want a mid-tower without the upside down ATX like the Lian Li V1000 series. I'm using that currently for another system I built. The reason I want to stay away from that is because I want to use the A8N32-SLI Deluxe and the heatpipe tech on it doesn't work properly if flipped upside down. I also don't want something that is going to be absolutely HUGE and clunky like the Tai-Chi series. That thing is a monster. I'll also be water-cooling this system as you'll see below. I'm open to any and all suggestions and I would also appreciate input on the rig setup as a whole.

Custom Cooling Kit:
Danger Den NV78 SLI GPU Kit
Danger Den Silver TDX CPU Block
Koolance Exos-2

Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe

OCZ 2GB PC3200 Platinum Series

Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB

Optical Drive
(2x)Plextor PX-760A DVD-RW

Power Supply
Enermax Liberty 620watt

Sound Card
Soundblaster X-Fi XtremeMusic

Speakers
Logitech Z-5500

Monitor
Dell 2405fpw

Operating System
Microsoft Windows MCE 2005

Backup Supply
APC UPS 750A

TV Tuner
WinTV-PVR-500 MCE-Kit

Haha... yeah, I know. I'm pretty indecisive. I review a LOT before I make a decision on what hardware to get. I think outside opinion is always a big help, though. The 2000 series won't work for me, though. It's a full tower and I'm looking for a mid tower. It's just way too much case for what I need.

I think you're missing an important point. The V1000 series requires an upside down mobo and I am getting a mobo with a heatpipe. Heatpipe mobos should not be installed upside down because the liquid inside the pipe doesn't transfer the heat properly.

Haha... the TJ07 is a full tower too. Anyways, I think I may end up going for that case anyways. Anyone else got any suggestions on case or the setup I'm going to build?

How about the Antec Sonata or Soho 3000 cases....

My Antec Titan made for EATX mobo (good depth) came with a 550 true power 2 power supply (20/24 pin, SLI ready, 4 SATA plugs, etc...)You could use that versus the 620 enermax.....Case has 120mm exhaust fan and dual 92mm fans in HDD bays....

My friend has a Lian-Li and the case is crap...terrible design with terrible airflow...I dont like their designs....

Just looked at that case... looks amazing! One question, though. Is there room behind the mobo tray to run wiring for cable management?

haha he said Lian Li case's are crap and he's using an antec.

ok back to OP, its really up to you, cases depend on what the user likes as long as it provides sufficient cooling. i dunno which lian li case he used but my lian li v1000b has excellent airflow with my setup. maybe poor cable management?

Lian-Li PC-60 is priced on Newegg for $99. It has all the room for your needs.
