Hey guys, I have already ordered my GFX card last week and slapped it into my old rig, to test it out, so no going back.

I have an XFX ATI HD 6670 1GB DDR5, I want to know if this thing should be able to run BF3 on high.

Also, I am looking at getting a I5 2500, Ecs H61H2-M3 LGA1155 DDR3 SATA3 Mboard, 4GB ram(2x2gb), and reusing my Coolermaster 600W PSU/500gb Hitachi HDD.

Will this be able to run BF3 decently? I seen videos of guys claming to run it on high with this card, but I want confirmation from the pros here if this system will be able to run the game on high.

Here is where I am getting the system from.

This is the specific mobo if anybody can take a look at it for me please.

Here is my Roswill Challenger case I am going to build everything in.

To run BF3 on high you would need a 6900 or or at least 6870 class GPU, that too for full HD or less, and we aren't talking of max here. And not perfect performance but good performance only.

A 6670 would probably be fine at low or so.

Mh, well that doesn't sound good. Did you see the video I posted above? It appeared to run higher than low.

I know my 360 can run it and it looks pretty good on that, not as awesome as higest on PC, but much better than low I would hope.

If you are lucky, perhaps low-med, but not more than med for sure.

If you really want to enjoy BF3 you will need at least a 7800 or 6900 series card, preferably 7800 series.

Total cost of my system is going to be around $500 total. I really can't send back this GFX card since its already opened and I am using it now. My motherboard is costing $360 without shipping.

I searched on Youtube and I found this guy here. Says he is running it on high, but with an older system than I will have, like he will have a Core 2 Duo.

Sorry, not trying to argue, but I just really want to know how this performs on wide open maps with jets and a resolution of 1680x1050.
