Building a new computer this week for high-end gaming. I only need the case and everything inside it. My budget was $1,300 and I'm $70 over but some MIR should take care of that. Let me know what you think...

Case CoolerMaster RC-690 $70.00
PSU Corsair VX450W $80.00
Mobo Abit IP35-E $120.00
CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 $278.00
Video Card MSI GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB $377.00
Memory 4x1GB Corsair XMS2-6400 CL4 $206.00
Hard Drive Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB $125.00
DVD-R Samsung 18x DVD+RW/-RW SH-S182D $38.00
OS Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit $50.00
Power CyberPower 880 $27.00

Total $1,371.00

I'm especially still worried about the case (Is it a good case with solid cooling? ) and the Video Card (Should I just save money and get the 320MB?)

Please give me any comments I haven't built a computer in over 2 years and would be really disappointed if I made a glaring error or missed an amazing deal. Thanks!

Samsung or WD over the seagate any time of the day. If the resolution you play it won't be higher then 1680*1050, then the 320mb version should suffice. Can't say I know anything about the case, for a little more money you can buy a antec 900 as well, or for less if you get it with some nice rebates.

For a pure gaming rig I'd rather spend 100$ less on the cpu and 100$ more on the gpu though. If possible, a e6750 and a 8800gtx then a q6600 and a 8800gts 320mb. The 8800gtx will give more fps then the extra 2 cores of the q6600 could.

Seagate + 5 year warranty = win

I'd stay with the seagate, then bump the quad core to a 6750, or 6550.. then spend that money on something more then 450watt PSU.
