Building new computer --question

Last night I spec'd out and purchased a new computer. Decided to go with an Athlon 64 system. When I put the parts in to the cart, I thought that I was getting the regular 3000+ Ahtlon 64 chip. Earlier today I checked my order status and realized that I actually got the Mobile 3000+ chip. My question is, am I going to run into trouble getting this chip to work with an Asus K8V? Mobile Athlon 64 3000+

Kingwin CPU Cooler

I read here on the Anand forums that there may be a problem with CPU cooler because the Mobiles do not come with a HSI.

Also, should I notice any type of performance difference between the regular Athlon 64 3000+ and the mobile version? Just want to see if I'm going to be okay with my new purchase. Thanks yall.
