Update: I ordered the HSF, the ram, and the sound card. The ram and the sound card had free shipping and the HSF shipping was only $4. I think I'll get a DVD drive instead of the CDROM, thanks.

just built one almost exact same config...

Epox is great board, stick with it... 1.2 266 is fast...
I agree with others... get the DVD instead of CD
I'd get the Radeon LT--- good 2d, good 3d, great price
Crucial 2100 DDR rocks...get one 256 meg...
Case is good too... comes with great enermax 300W PS
Make sure your HDD is 7200... Maxtor rocks...

She's gonna be a screamer... good luck...

Your system is looking very refined now. The Epox is a great choice and the RAM was very good. I think that you would have a difficult time going wrong with any of the video cards you are considering. DVD definitely over CD. That Aopen is an okay drive, there is a 16X Toshiba available on Newegg for not too much more...Might not need the extra speed, but it reads subchannel data...The Aopen however might not be region locked if that's important to you. The Lite-on is a great inexpensive burner too. Some very good choices there.

What is subchannel data? I won't be doing very much with dvds, am I going to need it? Also, will the 1.2Ghz processor (OEM from NewEgg) I get have the multiplier already unlocked or will I have to unlock it? Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind, found the answer in another thread, 1.2's are unlocked.
