building new computer...help

I'm finishing a new computer...
Aspire X-Dreamer II 420w case/ps (neon lights)
Athlon 64 3000+ 939 cpu
OCZ 1GB pc3200 mem
seagate 160gb sata hdd
powercolor radeon x800 gto 256mb vivo pci-e
dfi infinity nf4 ultra mb
lite-on dvd rw drive
i have 4 80mm case fans and 1 120mm fan (neon)
when i power up nothing comes on the monitor (samsung 730p 17" lcd)
all the fans come on, even the cpu, mb and radeon fans and all the neon lights
but i dont hear the hdd doing anything
all the parts are new, so theres nothing on the hdd
ive built computers in the past (5 total) but never w/o a floppy (no floppy in this one)
and never with the new sata drives (better wires then those thin/wide ones that blocked everything)
i tested the monitor on my old machine and its fine
i dont have an agp port on the new mb so i cant check the video card
plus the led for the hdd on the front of the case doesnt come on (couldve wired that wrong)
and occasionally (depending on my connections) the dvd drive wont power on (open)
im thinking about buying a cheap pci video card to check that out
any other suggestions????

I would say your power supply is cheap. That is not a good quality power supply. I would much rather have an Antec 350w power supply over that one you have.
