Building new comp mainly for gaming AMD based

I was originally planning to just upgrade my computer but I am just going to get rid of it and start over only keeping my keyboard and mouse.

I was figuring on getting a viewsonic 19inch monitor for 220.

After that I have about 1800 to spend on the system what would you all recommend?

I don't like to order from 50 different companies so try to stick mainly to newegg for prices please.

S939 mobo...maybe an Asus A8V
Athlon64 3500+
a WD Raptor and a regular IDE or SATA large drive for storage
a 6800GT card, eVGA, BFG they are fine.
an Antec or Coolermaster case, either a P160 or a Praetorian.
a gig of decent RAM... maybe PC3700 or PC4000 OCZ.
DVD burner, Pioneer 16X Dual Layer
a good power supply like an Antec NeoPower 480 or something similar.
Chaintech AV-710 soundcard, or an AudigyZ ZS Platinum if you want to spend more $
