Either way, the SLI mobo is a waste of cash. Get one only if you plan to run two 7800GTX's in parallel.
The Chaintech mobo is quite cheap. Or you can opt for the Epox Ultra for a budget quality board.
Otherwise, the rest looks okay.

That will play current generation games just fine. Next gen are going to be a problem though 🙁

Not bad. I'd take a Dell LCD with a coupon over most other LCD monitors. The 6 series GPUs are very competitve (price-wise) with their ATI x800 series counterparts. The former offering better performance for the same price... seems to me like NVIDIA is the way to go (at least until the new ATI cards are released -- if ever). Other stuff looks good.
 
That video card sux, get to ATI.com and get an X800 Pro refurbed for 20 bucks more (has 3 year warranty). Looks good.
