Already have a DVD drive & writer
and some IDE cable too.

I will be upgrading some stuff like RAM and GFX card once i get some more money.
I was wondering should i lose the Radeon and stick with the onboard and save for a better card?

i'm not sure what that machine's gonna go for you, but it's probably not what you want. read the stickies if you want anyone to make recommendations.

in general- DDR2 isn't getting any cheaper, budget for 4gb. the phenom II X4 deals are the way to go unless you find a nice package deal with an X2 (<$150). 1gb of 128bit gddr2 is worthless, a 512mb 4650 or 4670 would be a large upgrade for $20 more, at most. you don't need a sata to ide converter, your mobo will have both, plus anything running on that sabrent thing will be, well, terrible. and i'd take a good 300w psu over a '500w' rosewill any day.

Agreed on the vid card, save up for something better. On the psu I am running a Phenom II 940 at 3.5ghz with a 9600gso on a 500w Rosewill right now, everybody hates on them but they work. You could not run that system on any 300w psu that I am aware of.

i would bet my left nut that a 300w seasonic will put out more clean power than a 500w rosewill.

rosewill's oem's vary from passable to terrible. it's not worth the $20 discount to buy something that is unlikely to do rated power, and will probably have an asston of ripple if it gets anywhere close. this is assuming it doesn't just flat out die do to a lack of quality components inside.

there are people that can say they've fallen out of the sky without a parachute and lived- that doesn't make it a good idea.

Not impressed by the motherboard, but it does have on-board video, so you can delay/save up for a proper video card if necessary (depends on your usage).

OP lists 4x 1GB RAM. 4GB total is good, but see if you can find a 2x2GB pack for a similar price.
