I've checked around on google and didn't find much. I've upgraded most parts in a computer, but never built one from scratch. The part that scares me the most is the processor installation (AMD 2600 Athlon).

Everything comes with directions. Just take your time and don't rush.
Yeah, the part about installing the heat sink can be intimidating, because there is a lot of force applied when clamping down the bracket. Don't force it.
There are always bumps in the road no matter how many systems you have built. Check out my web site to see how my build went. I've probably formatted and started over 10 times. Plus my system didn't fire up the first time I threw the switch. It's worth it in the long run.
