Yeah I played professionally console first person shooters and looking to
Get into pc. Never built a pc but I've always wanted to! Now I'm attempting to build a gaming rig and not sure where to start lol looking to spend like 600$? And something I can upgrade over time kinda thing? Any suggestions?

$600 won't give you much (or any) of a gaming PC. These are not like consoles...

The PC I have in my specs was about $1,400 and that was with recycling my HD, monitor and Windows 7. I would say my PC is the upper end of a mid-range gaming PC.

PC's can be upgraded as you feel - you can reuse a lot of components as time goes on.

I came from a PC I had from 2006, so I had to do a complete overhaul. I should be able to get just as much time out of this PC if not more. If I do need to upgrade in the next year or so it will only be a new video card.

$600 with or without monitor, OS, keyboard, and mouse? It is possible to pick up something reasonable (at least as powerful as a console) for $600 if you're just talking about the box itself. If you need everything, then it's going to cost you more.
