I am looking at spending a good deal of money on a i7 920 x58 setup, but after talking to my friend who just built his, I realized I won't have enough PCIe slots!

My build is going to be at min
2 x G285's
1 X PCIe Dlink extreme wireless card (I already using this on my current PC)
1 x PCIe Creative labs sound card (I need this for my 5.1 speaker setup for EAX games)

My problem is that I realize on a Asus P6T deluxe I can only use 3 PCIe cards at the same time!
I already own my PCIe Dlink wireless and its been the only wireless card that has worked well for me so its going into my new PC build. I had complete hell with other ones.

But I have been burnt countless times on Non-creative lab sound cards, I am a hard core gamer for some specific games and every time I play a intense 3d positional sound game that uses EAX I am always horrified by the sound performance of the claimed "creative labs alternatives". So I want to get a new PCIe creative labs sound card on top, but I realize that this might just be impossible to get that on top.

I may also get a new digital TV Tuner card for it which I would also like to be PCIe, this isn't very important to me right now as I currently have cable.
This new PC will replace my current HTPC, it sits in a long side a new Samsung 52inch LCD TV and a proper 5.1 surround sound setup, with Marantz AMP and Jamo speakers.

Seems like a bit of a raw deal to spend big $ on a new PC and not be able to even have a pure PCIe setup.
I mean why would I want to buy a brand new old school PCI based cards when there are just as many PCIe versions.

I don't see that my PC setup is extreme at all and I am shocked I was this close to buying it all and not even being able to have it all fit on the MB! All X58 motherboards come and a premium price but appear to lack in areas. On top of that I don't reside in the USA, and my local currency has dropped at least 33% of what it used to be meaning while I am working for my money just has hard as I always have my PC has gone up at least 33%! It just all hurts!

Any one have any suggestions?

So you are keeping the mobo choice over selling off the sound card for a 90$ creative labs PCI Extreme Gamer card?

Get a PCI Extreme gamer card or you can always choose the Asus Revolution board which is 369 $$$ atm which has 6 PCI-e slots
