I have been posting in the Motherboard forums and have gotten conflicting results. What is a decent s939 mobo with PCI-e. I have gotten the AMD 64 300+ but everything else is up in the air. Dont need much for the video card, dont do much besides normal stuff and watch tv.

1 Gig ram
Motherboard - as above too many conflicting recommendations
PCI-e card - How is this one?
have hard drive
Zalman 7000B alcu HSF

UPDATE: got a Antec 380W PS from a fellow ATer, thinking about the EPoX MoBo that AT raved about...eventhough its ~$110 shipped.
What brand of budget ram is the best to get?

If you had to get a video card, something like an X300SE would probably be the cheapest. That or a 6200TC

X300SE

6200TC

I'd probably go with the x300se since it doesn't use any of your system memory. Not that I think your system will use more than 16MB or so, but you never know.

If you have an LCD (that uses DVI), make sure to get a video card with a DVI port, as that will give much better image quality.

Just get This motherboard. That way, you wont have to spend any money on a video card so you could afford to upgrade something else.

Are there any mobo's like above that have both PCI-e and PCI card slots? I would like to keeep the upgradability....or is there one in the full ATX format?
