Building Epox 8KHA+ & WinXP: Any suggestions on OS setup?

I've got an Epox 8KHA+ board with 1800+ cpu, Gainward ti200 video, santa cruz sound, and I'm installing WinXP Professional on it. Anybody have any suggestions as far as drivers go? Should I install the Via 4-in-1 drivers on it? I've had problems after installing those drivers on my previous Via systems. Just looking for some info before I have to figure it all out for myself 😉 Thanks!

WinXP comes with native support for via chipsets. I didn't install any drivers for my board and it works fine.

I haven't had any problems with the 4 in 1's with my Abit KT7A RAID and windows XP, but that won't guarantee you won't. 🙁 However, they did fix some weird problems I was having.

With the vid card, I'd just use the nvidia drivers.

The way I did it was get it up and running install all updates for XP and latest sound and Video card drivers then once you know it`s all ok,then if you want install the Via 4 in 1 drivers ,I had no problems with 4.36 and then 4.37 drivers and remember XP has built in 4 in 1 drivers so installing them is really up to you. Also on the VIA 4 in 1 drivers 4.37 it only updates the INF files and installs the PCI IDE Driver which you can deselect from install( I installed it).
