Well this is the first system I am building and I am stuck at a rather awkard part. I've installed the mobo into the case w/ the processor and the heatsink and a video card. Booted up and it gave me the no disk found error which is alright since I don't have anything installed yet. So I am in the process of installing my HD, CD and other peripherals. I have a vantec HD Cooler that fits in a 5.25 bay, however I can't slide it in when my DVD is there. If anyone has a Vantec HD cooler or whoever, what can I do? I am using an Antec 1030 case.
 
It sounds to me like you're going to have to toy around with the drive placement in that case. I had to do some similar things involving IDE cables lengths and positioning. Just find what fits and leave it like that.
 
Excuse me if I am wrong, but doesn't the antec 1030 case have a fan bracket already installed in the hard drive cage? Couldn't you just buy a fan and snap it in the bracket by your hard drive?
