Building Comp...Problems....HELP!!!

I am putting together a comp for a friend. I'm using the ECS K7S5A motherboard with the SiS735 chipset. I have the 300W Sky Hawk powersupply that came with my aluminum case from Directon. My vid card is a MSI GF2 Pro 64mb. I have 256mb of Kingston DRR RAM from Directron. I'm running a 1.4gig Athlon cooled with a Globalwin WBK38 w/ the default thermal pad. It has a Seagate 20gig HDD. When I turn it on all the fans get power, but I get no video. I've checked the RAM and Vid card, and both are plugged in correctly. I'm going to check the CPU now. What do you think is the problem? Let me know asap, thanks.

It could be that your motherboard is set to jumper free mode, and the bios doesn't have the right settings for your proc. My advice would be to set all of the jumpers on the board to your proc settings, and retry.

I decided to remove the CPU and put new arctic silver 2 on myself. I wont be doing it until thursday, but I'll let you know how it goes then.
