Well, my mom has an old system, and I would like to put it in a shuttle, or another small form factor PC (barebones):

Right now she has:

P4-a 1.7GHz
1x512 Stick PC133 SDRAM
GeForce2 MMX200
80GB HDD
Justlink 12x10x32x CD-RW

I would like to know what is the optimal small form factor PC or Shuttle for this configuration? I may upgrade the RAM, but all she does is type documents, print, and surf the web (write e-mails). Any input?

Thanks,
daba

EDIT: She needs the space.

If all she does is that...then why does she need anything else?

she isn't going to benefit at all...

now if she needs the space that a SFF provides because she is trying to get it into a specific area...that might be a different story- but then i'd reccomend to reuse as many parts as possible...

but unless she needs the space, I don't see a reason as to why a new pc is in order

oh- upgrading your ram will provide little to no benefit for her ;)

Welp, I bought it for her, a very modest computer. I also threw in some Mushkin Basic Green 512MB PC2700 just for kicks .

SS51G for $184 shipped.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
