Building a Server

Any ideas? 🙁 Dual gigabit LAN and 3 free ethernet ports. Would I need to buy a switch to bond all three ethernet ports? If so, where could I get one?

I've never tried it before, but this would be a good place to start -- especially since you're running linux. I'm pretty sure that desktop Windows does not support this.

Edit:
I'd try it first between the two ports on the motherboard. If that works then go buy a cheap (linux supported!) PCI or pci-e 1x ethernet card and see if you can add that to the mix. Keep us posted if you get it working!

Thanks for the suggestions. Another thing: if I wanted to set up the server as a direct connect hub for significantly more people, would this change my system requirements? Also, how limiting would my (about) 20Mbps connection be? I don't know much about setting up a direct connect hub either, so information on that would also be helpful.
Thanks! 😛
