Just about to begin building my first athlon system so I figured I'd run it by the experts with a couple of questions...
I planned on getting...

1.1 Ghz TBird
Asus A7V or Abit KT7 Mobo?
Stick of 256 PC133 Micron SDRAM
ATX Case with 250-300 watt ps?
Golden Orb w/ Heatsink?
Soundblaster Live! Value
GeForce 2 MX
WD IDE 30 gig HDD
with all of the lil extras and whatnot...

My questions are:

1) Better mobo for gaming and internet surfing: A7V or KT7.
2) Will the Micron RAM do the job in either of these mobos as I've read of RAM issues with the KT7 not liking much RAM makers
3) How big of a power supply and where to get the ATX case?

The last computer I built I basically just upgraded an old one so I never had to worry about the case, now that I have to get a new one I don't really feel comfortable in choosing one and figured someone could possibly help.

Thanks!

onvia doesn't have crap. i ordered the msi from them the week before xmas and they said instock. week after, my order was still inprocess. called techsupport, guy's like, we're out of stock. i'm like "so what? i placed my order when it was in stock." "well, we're out of stock now and won't have any in until probably jan 31." "cancel my order then." "sorry." "whatever. {click}."

go with the a7v, btw. if you're gonna oclock though, i guess you'd be better off with a abit or msi since you have jumperless multiplier settings.
