Just get a radeon 7000, or geforce 2 mx, that was, if he decides to upgrade the slot 1 processor sometime, it can GROW with the card, You could prolly get a 600 MHz pIII workin on that board in the distant future, cheap too! lol a project pc huh? that's how I forst got hooked on pcs, a 66 MHz pentium desktop.... Those were the days, Myst and Jazz the Jackrabbit 🙂

Jazz Jackrabbit kicked ass. Jazz 2 was kind of a letdown though.

You might need to find out the AGP spec on your mobo. 3.0 volts or 1.5? dunno if you can just throw any AGP card into it.
1x only? 1x/2x? things like that. check out the manufacturers web site.

you can only put into it what will fit...if it fits, it will work.

if it doesnt fit...dont make it fit 🙂

a gf2/radeon 7xxx would be the most id put in it. personally i had a tnt2 when i had a p2300....had some serious unreal tourney loving goin on though 🙂
