Building a PC

Hello, I'm new to the darksi-ahh, I mean the PC side, and I want to build a PC for gaming.
Will this setup give me any problems? Any comments appreciated.

SiS 735 Motherboard
AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz 266mhz FSB
Cooler Master DP5-6H11
IBM 20GB 7200RPM
GeForce3 Ti200
256MB PC2100RAM
Enermax case(from newegg)
Do I need a soundcard? I've heard the Sis735 has onboard sound. I don't need speakers, all I use are headphones.

Oh ya, I'd be running WinXP

I know next to nothing about putting a PC together so I'm gonna need some help in a while. 😛

pretty damn nice for starters....i would have gone for a regular gforce 3 or the ti500.......way better for gaming
how big is the power supply....300.?? or above will work

yeah, the case comes with a 300W power supply. And yeah, I would have gone with a regular GF3 or Ti500, but I can't spend too much moola. And $121 for that Ti200 is great 🙂

your right about the price...i knew you were going to say that.....a 300 p/s will probably work....everything you have listed should kick a$$........go for it......watch the cpu temps ..if to high ,get a better hsf

edit....if your going to use headphones alot use the on board sound and save money.🙂

Dude get yourself a good soundcard, sound and gaming are sooooooooo important! Go for the XP gametheater its pretty cheap and has lots of options although you would have to wait on the drivers to be released ! I would also think about a Antec 1040B case! A bigger hardrive also space goes really fast !
