I will be building a new Athlon 64 system, I will get either the Venice 3000+ or 3200+ (For a ~$50 difference, which is better?). Should I just be getting the regular PC3200 ram? or should I get faster ram if I want to overclock, If so what speed should I get?

I havent overclocked a system in a long time and am kind of out of the loop. With this chip can i overclock the chip without overclocking the ram? Or even if so, do i want to increase the ram speed for performance. I am probably going with the ASUS NF4 SLI board. I heard the DFI one is a little better for overclocking, but overall I care most about stability and a board that wont be picky about ram, and I heard the ASUS one is best to get for this. Thanks guys!

If you want to overclock, get the 3200 for its higher multiplier, and ocz value vx, which when fed lots of voltage overclocks extremely well. Since your not getting the dfi board, you'll want to get ocz's voltage booster, around 30 bucks.

If you don't want to overclock, get the same thing except with a 3000 and no voltage booster.
