Building a new system will my current windows xp work on it?

Im am going to install windows xp,the same cd im using on this system, on my new system i am in the process of buiding,will this give me a problem with the activation feature ,has anyone else gone through this?Im selling my old sytem after i build the new one and im removing xp and putting windows 98 on it.

I cant see why it would if you accually own XP ! The worst you will have to do is call and tell them your situation!

You'll just have to call the Activation Police at M$ and tell them that you've bought a new PC, and don't intend to pirate or use your copy of XP on more than one PC. I had to do it already, it's not too big of a deal.
