Building a new PC???

I?m building a new computer but I still need some help on picking out a motherboard for about $100?A case and power supply for about $150....Don?t know if this will change anything but it will be running on Windows XP MCE 2005.

The only PCI-e s939 mobo in that price range is the Chaintech nforce4. If you get a cheaper (not lower quality) case/PSU (Antec Sonatas are highly recommended, 380W should be enough) you can buy a better board (DFI nf4 ultra), unless the chaintech is enough, then I would stick with that and save money.

Also, you may want to use the onboard soun before buying a discrete sound card,. The nvidia sound is excellent quality and you really only need the A2 if you are doing hardcore audio ediing or just need all the fancy ports. If you decide you need it, you can always get it later.

Everything else looks great. the only other thing I would recommend is waiting for the price of the video card to come down a little more, but obviously this isn't always an option... Good luck with your build!

Will you be gaming with this machine?

From that system, I would delete the 3200+ and get the 3000+, that will leave you an extra ~40 to add to the quality of the case and psu. I would also go with a BFG 6800 OC video card, as the X800 XL seems to be a bit overkill. That will net you another ~70 to spend on a motherboard. I also agree on not buying a sound card until you have a chance to hear the stock sound, that will save you another ~80 to add to other areas. Here is a system I just ordered yesterday:
