Sometime either in June or July, I will be building a new computer. I was wanting some suggestions on which route I should go. One question I had was will the AMD 64 socket 939 processors be on the market by then and if so would it be in the budget for this PC.

My budget is $1000 ($1200 only if I can get a big performance jump out of that extra $200)

This computer should:
-Have good graphics and sound
-Fast and quiet
-Able to overclock (I haven't overclocked before so I probably will just do a little)

Unless somebody strongly suggests against, I will get these parts.
-X-Blade Case 400W ($110)
-Z-5300 Logitech speakers ($140)

I want to know what I should do for the rest (After the two above there is roughly $900 to spend)
-Processor
-Motherboard
-Memory
-Video Card
-Sound Card (I was thinking Audigy ZS 7.1)
-DVD/RW CD/RW drive
-SATA hard drive
-Cooling

Last time i checked AMD wasn't making a 939 they had a 940 and a 754 chip but not the 939. If you are refering to the 940 that chip alone will run u around 600+ dollars. I would suggest the 754 chip as it is cheaper to purchase. I found my next system when i get my new job. This is the main set. Video card, Twin ones of this.

But that is not havin a budget at all........
