Ive already got a semi-decent PC, but the mobo/cpu/ram needs an upgrade.

I plan on keeping the existing HD (Barracuda 300gb), Audio (Audigy XS) and DVDRW
No plans for overclocking.

This is what I have spec'ed out for new parts:

Motherboard- GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L
CPU- Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 Wolfdale 2.66GHz
Memory- G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
Video Card- MSI N9600GT 512M OC GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express
PSU- Thermaltake TR2 430W

All in for less than $400 for the stuff listed above. I plan on using the computer for general use, no gaming.

What do you experts think of the stuff I have chosen?

If you're not gaming then this is more than enough for what you are doing. A little overkill for general use but hell, no reason to skimp right?

Well if I went for a little lower end mobo, video or cpu, it was only a savings of like 10% so I figured might as well go with the stuff I picked above. I could have went higher end, but I think that will do for now.

Shouldnt have a problem running Vista on this setup, right?

True, but at $65 after rebate, it was a no brainer. Even a lesser card would cost around $50

No reason for DDR2-1066. DDR2-800 would be more than fine, and should cost less.
